Default Pre-war RCAF Sgt J. M. Ready requires identification

On 26 August 1929 RCAF Sgt J. M. Ready baled out of de Havilland DH.60 Moth G-CYXH over Lac du Bonnet, Mantoba. The aircraft was being used for forestry patrols, on floats, from Lac du Bonnet, The pilot bailed out after becoming lost in fire smoke and walked out of the forest.

Ok that's what I know. what I don't know is his full names and serial number. I was wondering if any of our Canadian users have these details.

I am expanding my pre war bale outs to Commonwealth and Empire countries so would welcome any names and dates

I have at least one more Canadian RCAF airman that I would like to identify and will post about him in another thread

    Thanks Paul

    Paul,

Not sure if you are aware of it, but l believe the following publication contains a listing of Canadian "Caterpillars" (11), up to end of 1939:

    Canada's Flying Heritage.
    Ellis,Frank H.
    Toronto:University of Toronto,1961(2nd.rev.ed.).

Maybe someone with a copy of the book can add to the first six names already known to you?

    17-05-1929 - Jack Caldwell - C.T.P., Canadian Vickers.
    27-08-1929 - Sgt J.M. Ready RCAF.
    02-06-1930 - Lt M.F. Slaght USAAC.
    28-09-1931 - Sgt F.B. Brisco RCAF.
    19-12-1931 - E.C. Burton - Civilian.
    26-07-1932 - F/O F.M. Gobeil RCAF.

    Paul,

That's fine. But do you have the other five (5) names, to the end of 1939 ?

Here are the five (5) names, for which l have only that, the names:
