    Default Pre-war RCAF Pilot Sgt F B Brisco requires identification

    On September 28, 1931 Sgt F. B. Brisco baled put of over Camp Borden, Ontario. This was as the result of a collision between RCAF DH.60M [Gipsy I] serial 79 with RCAF Avro 616 Avian Mk.IVM Minor serial 97. Sgt GH [GJ?] Hitchen killed was killed in the Avian

    I would appreciate full names and details of Brisco and Hitchen

    Taken from Ancestry.com - Gilbert James HITCHEN (13 March 1907-28 September 1931). Buried 02 October 1931 @ Elmwood Cemetery - Winnipeg, Manitoba.

    Thanks to Hugh Halliday I can now correct this info..


    Gilbert James Hitchen service number 5230

    Acting Sgt Frederick Beverley Brisco service number 5225 and I was he who baled out of RCAF #79 DH.60 Moth over Camp Borden on September 28, 1931


    The service numbers R145442 and J27702 were allocated to Frederick Benjamin Brisco (wrong Brisco)
