    Default Skipsea MTR

    Hi
    New to this forum, i'm doing some research into the moving target range at skipsea, i'm wondering if anyone has any pics of the range when in use or shortly after before it became far grange caravan park in the 80's. When I was a kid parents had a caravan on there (90's) we used to play on the cliffs and beach and often found .303, 20mm ammo plus bits from Sherman tanks ie, track, top hatch and the wheel gear. Been back recently very different now all evidence seems to be demolished of it being a range the 'v' or 'u' shaped mound which used to have track on top which I assume the moving targets went round on has all been flattened, blast wall gone and all the original buildings. Anything will do areial photos, plans owt.

    Many thanks

    To save repetition, perhaps we should mention information supplied in response to this request on Airfield Information Exchange;
