I would like to know the crasphaces of the Hurricanes I V6811 and V6542 lost on 15 October 1940 when the lost pilots bailed out when out of fuel.

In the sources I found, the crashplaces are usually listed as "near Dalton-in-Furness", "at Gleaston" (just SSE of Dalton-in-Furness" or "at Carnforth" (more east), but depending of sources, the crashplaces of these aircraft are inverted.

Only V6542 is listed as Carnforth, so it is possible that V6811 crashed at Gleaston, that is also "near Dalton-in-Furness" by the way. It is possible that the pilot of V6542 bailed out near Dalton-in-Furness, but his aircraft crashed away from thsi point.

Any help will be welcome

Thanks in advance
