Hi all,
I found this unusual unit for me in record of former night fighter radar operator being posted there in May 1945.
Malcolm's site (http://www.rafweb.org/Stations/Stations-M.htm) suggested it might be SCR.584 Training Unit based at Manston 26 May – 19 Dec 1945.
In my list of abbreviations I found that SCR may stand for School of Control and Reporting but this unit was existing only in 60s...
Would be anybody able to give me explanation what kind of unit it was in 1945 and what kind of training was carried out in this unit at the end of WWII?
TIA
