Default Comparing sorties 98, 180 and 320 (Dutch) Squadrons

    Good afternoon,

For my research project 'Dutch airmen in the RAF and FAA' I would like to compare the number of monthly sorties flown by 98, 180 and 320 Squadrons between July 1943 and May 1945. I do have the number of monthly sorties flown by 320. Does anybody have tips and tools how I can get hand on the numbers of sorties for 98 and 180 Squadrons in this period? ORB's? or 139 Wing ORB? Or does anyione is this group already have the numbers 'under his belt' ?

    Regards,

    Erwin van Loo

    Hi Erwin!
Guessing this is long resolved for you, but just in case you're still looking, here are the results of advanced searches in the National Archives' catalogue 'Discovery'

    http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...+%22No.+139%22

    http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...=&_st=adv&_rv=

    http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...+%22No.+180%22

I'd start with the Wing ORB first, because it involves less 'heavy lifting', and move on to the Squadron ORBs only if necessary.
