    Default B29 or B50 Crash at Great Dunmow, Essex 7th Nov 1952

    I am researching crashes in my local area and i have been told about the above crash but can find no info at all about it. Can anyone confirm if the details are correct and any further info if available please.

    Location- High Wood, Great Dunmow, Essex
    Aircraft - Boeing B50D
    Serial No- 48-091

    Apparently crashed after engine fire trying to make for landing at Stansted

    AFHSO will surely help you out with details, but pilot Capt. John K(emper) Field is buried at Pearsall, Texas.
