Default 1811281 Flt Lt FIZUL-KARIM RAFVR

    Hi guys

The above was, I believe, a navigator with Bomber Command circa 1944/45.

He hailed from British Guinea. He have seen a newspaper picture of him and he had several war ribbons, so was presumably operational.

Can anyone provide more information please?

    Cheers

    Brian,
1811281 was not his Officer Number. That was 164766. Chase it up in the LG. 1811281 Enlisted at Euston after Dec 1941. What was he doing in UK - Uni studying?
"British Guinea" is a coin - not a place.
    Try "British Guiana".
