Hi Martin,
I am able to confirm from the ORB that this aircraft flew with 312 (Czech) between 1st April and 29th May 1941 inclusive, while at Jurby. I do not have earlier ORB records for this squadron I'm afraid.
Regards,
Stevie
Hallo,
I recently acquired a copy of the Form 78 Aircraft History Card for Hurricane P3888. It records that after service with 310 Squadron it went - after repair - to 312 Squadron on 11 October 1940. It was with this second unit possibly until May 1941. Then to 56 OTU where it was eventually written off.
Could anyone with access to a copy of the 312 Squadron ORB please confirm if it flew with that unit, especially in late 1940 ?
I know in various published sources that P3888 is listed as being lost on 9 September 1940 after an aerial collision, while still with 310 Squadron. It also seems to have been listed being damaged on 13 August 1940 with 111 Squadron but this seems incorrect too since it never served with 111 Squadron according to the Form 78.
Regards,
Martin Gleeson.

I can confirm first two operational flights of Hurricane P3888 with 312 sqn on October 12th, 1940. According ORB first operational flight between 11.10-12.00 by P/O J.A. Jaske and second between 14.25-14.40 with P/O J. Duda at the controls.
Kind Regards.
David
Hallo Stevie and David,
Thank you both for the most helpful replies. They provide the perfect answer to my question, proving P3888 flew with 312 Squadron for that entire eight month period.
I appreciate your time and my thanks once more,
Martin.
