Default WWII Spitfire(?) crash on Meall an t-Suidhe near FOrt William

I was told of a plan to erect a memorial to a Canadian pilot killed in a crash on Meall an t-Suidhe during WWII and was trying to find more about it but not been able to find anything yet. It was said to be a Spitfire.

Meall an t-Suidhe is the hill alongside Ben Nevis I would expect the position to be in a mile ring centred on NN 130740.

I wonder if anyone has a reference source with more details - aircraft type, date, pilot's name etc?
