    Default Sgt. G. R. Graham

    Hi all

Bit of a long shot, but I've tried every resource I have available...

I am trying to establish the identity of one Sgt. Plt. G. R. (could potentially be C. R.) GRAHAM, who joined 41 Squadron as a Sgt. Plt. on 15 October 1941, and is last mentioned around 9 December 1941. He may have come to 41 Sqdn. from 412 Sqdn., but I am not sure.

I have neither forenames nor number, further service nor origins. I have tried Ross' POW listings, the CWGC website, Aces High (I & II), my RAF Lists (in service & retired) 1960, Hugh's lists of decorations on the AFAC site, the London Gazette (but it gives almost 2,300 results for "G. R. GRAHAM"; trawled 20 pages), and a general Google trawl, but am having no luck.

Does anyone have a record of such a pilot, please?

    Thanks
    Steve

There's only one G R Graham in the LG and that is an army chap, and no C R Graham.

To get best results for an exact name - i.e. G R Graham, use "With the exact phrase" in the search, and set the "Historic Event" to World War II.

I've found this to be very accurate

Not sure if this is your man but there is a GR Graham commissioned in the RCAF with a service number J-17350

    Hi Amrit and Richard

    Thanks for your help.

Richard, your RCAF chap sounds promising and it might explain the possible 412 Squadron link.

    Thanks very much

    Default G.R. Graham

    Hi Steve,

A F/S G.R. Graham flew with 3 Sqn on 19Aug42. Don't know if it's your man but the rank would be about right.

    Best Regards
