Default Photo of a grave at Cambridge City Cemetery

    Hi All,

I am hoping that a member of the forum who lives near the above cemetery may be able to take a photo of the grave of F/Sgt Kenneth Arthur Hill NZ421918 who was killed in an aircraft accident on the 22/1/44 while with HCU 1662.

If anyone can send me a photo to harley.158ATbigpond.com change the AT for the usual, I would be very grateful.

    Thanks,

    John.

    John,
If you get no luck through this forum then try contactong cwgc and see if they can assist or google the cambridge city cemetery and contact direct with your request, you might strike lucky and get the local groundkeeper to oblige. There may be a friends of group always worth a go-especially if it is a family member.
    Best of luck,
    Paul H.

You could try the local Air Training Corps squadron and ask if the can send somebody with a digital camera to do the job. If you want email details, please post on here and I will get the info for you asap

If you can wait a couple of weeks I'll be visiting Cambridge next month. Let me know if you have no luck finding someone local to take the picture.
    Cheers

    John,

If all else fails there is a photo of the headstone at http://twgpp.org/information.php?id=1144871. Although any downloaded image is low resolution, a good emailed copy would cost 3.50 - for details see http://twgpp.org/.
