I am trying to establish if both turrets disposed of spent casings and munition clips directly after having been discharged. The 'escape chutes' are seen in the photographs from which the spent casings obviously fell away but did everything fall leaving nothing from what was the ammunition feed to the guns.

If there are no collection collector boxes or bags for spent cartidges and links, etc, I would say that it would all fall away and arrive where gravity dictated.
