Default Blenheims bombing E-Boats in Calais Harbour, 24 Sep 1940

Does anyone know which Blenheim squadron(s) was(were) involved in the bombing of four E-Boats in Calais Harbour on 24 September 1940, escorted by 41, 92 and 501 Squadrons?

Is there also any indication of the success, or indeed otherwise, of the operation?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Steve,

Six crews of 114 Squadron standing by for attacks on shipping concentrations on 24 September (1940), were suddenly told that R-boats were minesweeping nine miles west of Dover. With six of 139 Squadron they were ordered off, with fighter cover, for what was clearly a dangerous mission. They met light flak and scored no hits on the fast-moving foe. After bombing, 139 Squadron tangled with 109s and Plt. Off. Hunt in R3698 shot one down with his wing gun. Flg. Off. Turnbull's machine was badly damaged and had to be set down at Manston. T1794 fell to flak and of Sqn. Ldr. M. F. Hendry and crew no trace could be found.

Bowyer, somewhat contradicts himself in a later publication:

    Bristol Blenheim - Operations Summary.

    Date - 23/24-9-40
    No. of sorties completed/despatched - 33
    Targets listed as attacked:
    Calais (22)
    Calais/Marck (6)
Ostend (13) - These figures don't add up!

    Date - 24/25-9-40
    No. of sorties completed/despatched -32
    Targets listed as attacked:
    Calais
    Le Havre
    Ostend

    Date - 25-9-40 (?)
    No. of sorties completed/despatched -12
    Targets listed as attacked:
    R-boats in the Channel.
