Default Looking for WWII squadroncrests to put on a monument PFF, Bombercommand and 7th sqdn

    Hello,
For our to build monument in Nieuwdorp we are looking for three WWII squadrons crests with on top the Kings crown.
We need the one of Bombercommand, The 8th group PFF and the crest of 7th squadron.
The crest I've collected now are not scaleble up to the 40 heigth we need. (the quality goes down.)
We need them in a EPS/PDF format which then can be put into the engrave machine. Black and white version is oke
The monument is scheduled to be reveiled on the 3th of may this year..
Can anyone help me or give me a clue in the right direction
    Thanks in advance

    Try the following places:

8 Group - The Pathfinder Museum, RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire

7 Squadron - 7 Sqn RAF Odiham Hampshire

Both badges - The Keeper of Archives, The RAF Museum, Hendon, London and The RAF Club, 128 Piccadilly, London

There will be other suggestions which might be better, so hang on for a few days!

    Hello "spijkerfestijn"

Take care if your engreaving stone with teh way you spell the Squadron and Group.

In the RAF these were known as number 7 Squadron and number 8 Group, they should not be spelled 7th or 8th, don't include the 'th'.

    Great work, well done

Thanks for the respond... We use our UK connections for the English text... Better correct it when it is still in the computer then trying to correct it when it is engraved in stone.
