    Default Noel Borland 266 sqn

Currently researching Noel and Doug Borland, twin brothers who served
With 266 sqn. I have the ORB's for the squadron, Noel was shot down by flak one week from the
End of the war, looking for any photos of 266 typhoons or photos with Noel or Doug in.
Noel served with the unit September 1942 to may44 then December 44 till he was shot down 23rd April 45 flying typhoon RB423 ZH-S

    Hello,

Besides the 266 Sqn ORB., have you consulted the following references for N V Borland?

    1/ The Typhoon & Tempest Story. Thomas & Shores. pp.195, 198, 208 & 211

    2/ Another Kind of Courage. Franks,Norman p.209

    3/ A Pride of Eagles/Salt,Beryl. pp.151, 253, 258 , 266 & 700.

    and...

    4/ Typhoon Attack. Franks,Norman. p.239
