Default Swordfish 825 Squadron FAA L9756

    Hello
I wonder if anyone can help, my father flew L7656 (5C) from HMS Furious on the Trondheim raid but due to bad weather had to land at Island Leka. With him was Henry Deterding who was flying L9756.
I have built a flying replica of my father's aircraft and a friend of mine is building Deterding's replica.

The question is, we have obviously his registration number but we are having a great deal of difficulty find the tail number, various ones suggested are 5H and 5D, does anyone know or have information that can lead me to a correct identification.

    Dear Andy,
I have done a fair bit of research on Henry Deterding as I fly from his old airstrip in Northants. I would very much like to find out more about how the replicas of the two Swordfish are coming along.
    Kind Regards
    Steve
