    Default Sgt. Evets Lesley

Hi, I am new here, and live in Belgium. Near the village Hoeselt, in a forrest, stands a cross with the name of a Sgt. Evets Lesley and the date 1-9-1941. I searched the internet but wasn't able to find out what happened here.
So I was wondering if anyone can tell more about this person. What happened to him at that certain day and who was he?
    Most thankfull!

    Hi,
you are right - I was also not able to find anyone like him on the CWGC site with death on this date...
The nearest possible seems to me - but I do not know anymore details about his death if it fits...
