    Hello Phil,

One down and one to go,

S/Ldr Henry Eustace Power lost his life in an accident at
Waddington in an aircraft of No. 2 Flying Training School, Digby.
S/Ldr. Power was the pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft.

    Regards,

    Ian

Very slight nit-picking. Can we, on this Forum and as a matter of routine, and in the future, refer to the names preceeding the Surname as "Forenames" rather than 'Christian names'. I, personally, have no problem with 'Christian names' - but there are those who do! 'Forenames' resolves all the religious difficulties!

    Hi Resmoroh,

Didn't want to offense anyone in that case, but in the enlisting forms on that time, it was written like this. Of course things have changed since then - in my Canadian passport it is now written 'Given names' - another option - , but as far as we are in the historic field, I see no offense at all in writting 'Christian names'. However I will consider your note on this point.
