    Does anyone have details of the loss of a Spitfire Vb of 132 Sqn, north-east of Orkney on 12 May 1942 please?

    12-5-1942
    No.132 Sqn.
    Spitfire Vb BL711

    Missing on patrol near Copinsay, Orkney.

    1293096 Sgt (Pilot) John Frederick CRAWFORD RAFVR +

    Body later washed up on Belgian coast. Buried Blankenberge Town Cemetery, Belgium.
