    Default Minelaying (Gardening) areas

I keep reading of mines laid in "Geranium" or "Young Yams", etc, but have yet to find a map showing the respective regions of the North Sea/Baltic which had these wonderful names, please can anybody help me to find a map as I have a particular interest in the minelaying ops flown by Bomber Command. Thank you.

I would be interested in such a map as well, especially covering eastern part of Baltic Sea with its minelaying areas near Gdynia and Danzig coded respectively SPINACH and PRIVET.
I would appreciate any details: i.e. geographical coordinates or a map which would help me establish the exact location of those areas.
    TIA for any assistance.

    Regards,
    Greg

    Dear Greg, Pete and David
I will try and rescan ASAP but my scanner does not want to talk to my PC at the moment. I need to get in professional help.... (my wife).
I hope the fist version will give you some answers.
    Best wishes
    James

    Dear All
New version has been e-mailed out as a J-peg. The computer wizard of our house did it.
Hope you all find the gardening areas you are looking for.
    Best wishes
    James

    Hi
As an addition you could try a Canadian site, http://www.bombercrew.com/main.htm, where via the menu -Bomber Command- you can find an article on Mining which is illustrated and has links to all the designated Gardening areas from the Baltic to the Spanish border
