P8134 - Spitfire IIb of 53 OTU was damaged at Kirton Lindsey, Lincs on
March 10, 1944 (12:30h),
The accident card details the pilot as the Belgian F/O SOUVIEDJM (Scuyiedjm or Scuviedim ?), (143484) , but the hand writing is hard to read.
Circumstances of accident are - air firing exercise, engine cut soon after take-off, turned back and belly landed on airfield.
Can anyone confirm the correct spelling of this pilot’s name ?
Thanks in advance.
Ian
