    Default WWII RAF ID Tag

The ID tag of a Pilot Officer killed in action over Holland in WWII showed his name and number plus the initials "O.F.F.R. - G.O.F.E". Can anyone tell me what these intitials stand for?

    Default WWII RAF ID Tag

"O.F.F.R. - G.O.F.E" was the way the information on the ID tag was recorded in Holland. Can I take it that what the tag actually showed was "OFFR - COFE"?
