    Default Convoy Patrols

It is very common to find entries in 41 Squadron's ORB concerning their participation in convoy patrols in the English Channel or in the straights between Wales and Ireland.

For example, the morning of 10 September 1942 was taken up with convoy patrols off the Welsh coast by Red Section, between 06:45 and 08:35, Yellow Section, between 07:46 and 09:20, and White Section, between 10:00 and 11:26.

Clearly escorting the same convoy all morning, is there any way to accurately pinpoint which convoy this might have been, or indeed any convoy, which the Squadron protected?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    Check out the following link.

    http://www.convoyweb.org.uk/

It's been a while since I used it but it seems like some new databases have been added.
