Default Willard serving in two world wars

I've been frequenting The Anglesey Arms in Boxted near Goodwood airfield. There are two photos in the bar showing the same airman serving in WWI and WWII. The later depicts, as one would expect, a relatively older looking man with a single stripe on his tunic but a number of medal ribbons - it is believed to have been taken at nearby Tangmere.

His surname was quoted as Willard. Any thoughts on who he might be?

    Robert,
I am not able to help you with your question but may I suggest that rather than lounging about in that pub you walk down the road to SS Mary & Blaise Church and visit the grave of Battle of Britain pilot P/O Billy Fiske. (Left out of the pub, left again to Boxgrove).
    Your'e welcome.

    Hey Ian,
When not in the pub I'm actually staying in Boxgrove so will check it out... before returning to the pub.

Dennis: Thanks for yours. I'll need to check these out at the pub.
