    Bertrand,

From Air-Britain's 'Impressments Log', Vol II, by Peter W Moss (pub 1963):

    6342 [c/n] G-AEOV W6456 10.1.40 [impressment date]. W. D. Gairdner [previous owner].
Delivered to No. 24 Sqn. and first used as G-AEOV on 7.2.40. Later became W6456 in June 1941 and remained with the squadron until 1942. On 11.4.42, the Rapide's port tyre burst while taxiing at Hendon and it swung off the perimeter track on to soft grass and was damaged. Conveyed to D.H. on the 16th for repair, but was later SOC as Cat.E1.
