Default Information sought - Blenheim Crash on or about 20th June 1941

I'm looking for any information regarding a crash into the sea of a Blenheim, from No 2 Coastal Operational Training unit. I think based out of RAF Catfoss?

    Regards

    Al

Blenheim V5813, props hit sea on navex and pulled up to 100 feet but lost height rapidly and ditched.

    Pilot is listed as P/O A M J Custers

Thanks for the reply, can I ask where the information was from, I've been unable to find much info from No.2 C OTU, especially at the National Archive.

Interestingly, the crew were at sea for three days I believe, before they were rescued.

    Hi,

Mostly from the Form 1180 held at RAF Museum, Hendon.

Some confirmation/additional data from the Form 78 from the same source.

    Regards
    Ross
