    Default Flying Accident 8/6/43

Does anybody have any details of an accident which occurred on 8/6/43 probably at No. 15 Elementary Flying Training School, Carlisle (Kingsdown). The aircraft was probably a Tiger Moth and one of those on board would be Sgt. J.G.A. Reece RAAF who may have been the Instructor.

(I've looked at his Service Record on NAA but the A705 is not digitised so seking to 'short cut'!)

    Cheers

    Hi Amrit

Certainly a strong possibility given the distance is only about 30 miles from where I think the flight originated to where that aircraft came down. The injuries to Reece didn't appear serious although he was undergoing medical treatment for about 6 months.

    Thanks
