    Default Hudson III AE603 Loss - 16-2-1942

    Hello,

Need help to positively identify two members of the following crew:

    16-2-1942
    OADU
    Hudson III AE603
    Ferrying Gibraltar - Malta.

The aircraft was being flown at 2,000ft through an electrical storm off Sicily, when at 1255 there were sudden jars and it became difficult to maintain speed. Ten minutes later, about half way between Sicily and Malta, the aircraft spun into the sea near Villa Corrente Island and sank within two minutes. F/Sgt Sellars RAAF, sustained a fractured ankle and facial injuries. The crew later drifted ashore in their dinghy and were taken prisoner.

    80145 P/O David Dutcherland COWLAND-COOPER RAFVR - PoW - (South Rhodesian) - L3/3092
    AUS404805 F/Sgt John Palmer Wallace SELLARS RAAF - Injured - PoW - Campo 57/18A/4B/225695
    941341 Sgt L A CORBY RAFVR - PoW
    927327 Sgt S V KING RAFVR - PoW - 4B/260774

Can anyone help with the forenames of Sgts Corby and King?

    Any help appreciated.
