    Has anyone any knowledge of the reference FIRPO SCARLET being used in RAF flying logbooks relative to ops over Burma please.

    FIRPO = Ranging patrol along the coastline looking for opportune targets.

    Firpo's was a popular eating venue known to many in India, the name was adopted and used within the RAF.
