    Default Name Squadron RAF

Paul, I have always used :

(Sqn Number) ( Sqn Name, if applicable) (Royal Air Force, or other designation)

    So your query would be:
No 44. (Rhodesia) Squadron, Royal Air Force.

    Hi Pavel,

    I agree with Alan.
If you are preparing it for the publishing in Czech there should be some little differences. Anyway I would suggest:

    In short:
    44 (Rhodesia) Sqn RAF

    In full:
No. 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron, Royal Air Force

Or if you are interested in Czech specifics feel free to contact me off board.

    Hello,

The designation, No.44 (Rhodesia) Squadron, only applied from the 12th September, 1941. Prior to that date it was simply, No.44 Squadron, RAF.

    Col.
