    Charles Welsh RCAF died from illness and was not related to the aircraft collision or any other aircraft.
    From the CWGC registers on ancestry.com

    So from this list: ~Capon, RNZAF
    Nixon RCAF, ~Welsh RCAF, ~Plate RCAF, Petrie RCAF, Cummer RCAF, Earl RCAF, ~Alexander RCAF, Guay RCAF, ~ Smith RAFVR, ~MacArthur RAFVR

    Alexander and Welsh were DOAS.

    So the other 8 names above were. Col's info suggests there were three more men. If any were non Canadian they ought to be buried with the two British airmen.

    WITCHER, Frank Henry - Sgt - 1645395 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Cambridge Hospital, Aldershot.

    With regards to the crews of Ansons 6642 and DG872, the R.C.A.F. Service File of R/177647 Lucien Pierre GUAY has a copy of the Court of Inquiry report, which includes the following crew lists:

    6642:
    Cummer, J. A. (capt), Sgt, 1 CNS, 1st Pilot
    Smith, R. G. G., L.A.C., 1 CNS, 1st Navigator
    MacArthur, A., L.A.C., 1 CNS, 2nd Navigator
    Guay, L. P., Sgt., 1 CNS, W.T. Operator

    DG872:
    Plate, C. W. (capt), Sgt., 1 CNS, 1st Pilot
    Nixon, T. W., P/O, 1 CNS, 1st Navigator
    Petrie, D. R., P/O, 1 CNS, 2nd Navigator
    Earl, W. H., P/O, 1 CNS, 3rd Navigator
    Capon, A. L., Sgt., 1 CNS, W.T. Operator
