    I have this chap online as being with 132OTU but the ORB does not give any details at all. Not a mention of an accident at all in the ORB.

    Online has him listed as Killed on Active Service.

    Does anyone have the missing information.

    Beaufighter VIC EL338 - crashed on take off at 1500 and hit a brick wall where it caught fire. The pilot is buried at Haddington but his navigator survived injured. It was found that the take off had been attempted with the elevator trim tabs incorrectly set in the up position. Pilot NZ4213406 Flt Sgt Leslie Benjamin JAMESON RNZAF - Age 20. 382hrs
