    Default 132 Squadron, 6th June 1944

    Hi,

I am hoping someone may have the 132 Squadron ORB and be able to give me the serial number for Spitfire IX FF-T flown I believe by W/Cdr. 'Paddy' Crisham on D Day, and if at all possible the details of the flight.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Russ

The ORB does not list the serials, only codes.

"T" was flown on a beachhead patrol of "Utah" from 8.00 to 10.00 by G/Cpt Grimshaw - there is a ? after the name in the ORB.

Thanks for your response John, much appreciated and very helpful. Shame about the serial though.

W/Cdr. Crisham was indeed a Group Captain by then (my typo) commanding the Tangmere Sector of 11 Group so Grimshaw would indeed have been Crisham (which is very nearly an anagram but I don't know if thats relevant).

    Cheers,

    Russ
