    Hello

    DUDGEON, John - AC1 - RAFVR - 1342569 - the Stirling Observer of October 28th 1943 reported the following:

    DIED ON ACTIVE SERVICE
A.C.1 John Dudgeon, R.A.F., son of Mr and Mrs Walter Dudgeon, 26 Douglas Street, Bannockburn, has died from an illness contracted while on active service in North Africa. Twenty-one years of age, he was a miner at Millhall Colliery in civil life. At one time he was one of five brothers in the forces. One was later killed while with the Black Watch, another was discharged from the R.A.F. Two brothers are still on service with the A. & S.H. in North Africa.

    Regards

    Simon
