    Default Bombardment on Loosduinen/Ockenburg, March 3 1945

On March 3, 1945 a huge bombardment took place on the Bezuidenhout, The Hague in The Netherlands. I found also some information that also a bombardment took place on Loosduinen and/or the estate Ockenburg on that same day.

Can someone confirm this ? And which squadron was involved on the bombardment on Loosduinen and/or the estate Ockenburg ?

    Hi Ronald,

4 Spits of 124 Squadron couldn't attack the rocket site at the Haagsche Bosch because of the clouds and bombed the aiming point at Ockenburg instead. Bombs fell mainly at the Southern end of the aiming point, others undershot and fell in the woods to the South.

    Regards,
    Hans
