    Died on active service (non-flying accident or natural causes).
    57 Sqn at that time at Rosières-en-Santerre, Dept. Somme.

    I apologise for such a late reply, CATMORE was seriously burned by night flares at Rennes on 22/03/1940 and taken to the French Military Hospital at Rennes where he died on 27/03/1940. (this is recorded in 57 Squadron ORB.)
