I can't find Crockford in any of the casualty lists
F/O I. Mackenzie, DOAS Cascom 329, note his age was 30 per the CWGC. there is a 29 yr old of that name in Strathcathro district, Angus which is as likely as any to be him I think.
R F Young DOAS CAsCom 335
K George is listed PREVIOUSLY REPORTED WOUNDED OR INJURED ON ACTIVE SERVICE, NOW REPORTED DIED OF WOUNDS OR INJURIES RECEIVED ON ACTIVE SERVICE.—F/O. K. George.
That was publised on March 16th 1944.
His name was previously publised on Oct 14th 1943 as injured. the following names might be related as they were publised as injured in the same list - doesn;t imply they were injured in the same event
F/O. K. George; Sgt. R. M. Hartley; L.A/C J. W. Holt; L.A/C. G. T. Howells; Sgt, P. B' Morley; Sgt. R. C. Paine; Sgt. L. Torry; Sgt' J. H. Tottman; Sgt. F. Wilson.
I estimate about three month delay in name reporting so F/O George might have been injured in summer 1943.
