To add to what AL90 has given, the following are two entries from the No.8 AGS ORB:

November 11th 1943, “A Martinet crashed near Dornoch and the Pilot Sgt Winterbottom and the Drogue Operator LAC Lodge were both killed outright.”

November 13th 1943, “Wing Commander S.H. Potter, from Headquarters 29 Group arrived at the station, to carry out Investigation into accident on 11th, November, involving Martinet J.N.496. Both occupants were killed instantly. (Pilot) Sgt Winterbottom, R. (Drogue Operator) L.A.C. K.A. Lodge.”

    Quote -"WAAF

Does this imply that she died as a result of an aircraft accident?

The R2252 collided with Dominie X7450.

Fitzrandolph/Kinmonth and 3 others were killed on the Dominie with 3 injured.

    No casualties on R2252

The above details from the F1180 differs from the account given in the link from Dennis.

    Ross

Ok, cool. In your posting #6, what in that post still stands as valid? are the F1180's in error or confused?

    Nah,

Image is correct and as my last post. It was my spreadsheet transcript that was in error.

I posted the transcript first then, when I read the info in the link, I pulled the original image to check details and found the error of my ways.
