    Default RAF acronym to decipher please

    My mother's cousin was sent to this-
    3W2SS on 19.12.40
    He was a newish RAF enlistment but I haven't been able to decipher what it means- anybody have ideas?

    Stuart,
    A possibility may be
    3 wing number 2 signals school.

    I'll wait for others to now tell you what it really means!

    Are you sure its not 3 W&SS? If so, its No. 3 Wireless Signals School

    It will be 3 Wing, 2 Signals School, I have seen it on other records
