Albert Salisbury 1178553 , a fitter airframe grade 2, was seriously injured in a cycle accident at RAF Skellingthorpe. Admitted to RAF Hospital Rauceby, he died from his injuries at 04:00 hours

Gordon Walker 746270 ,attached to 36 OTU, was admitted to the Nurological Institute in Montreal, Canada on 24 July, suffering from an intracranial lesion. He was repatriated to the UK and admitted to King Edward VII chest hospital, Midhurst where he underwent a pneumonectomy. Transferred to the Hughes College military hospital, Oxford, he died there of a cereberal tumour
