Albert Salisbury 1178553 , a fitter airframe grade 2, was seriously injured in a cycle accident at RAF Skellingthorpe. Admitted to RAF Hospital Rauceby, he died from his injuries at 04:00 hours

He was repatriated to the UK and admitted to King Edward VII chest hospital, Midhurst where he underwent a pneumonectomy.
