    OLIVER, Thomas Peter Treleaven - F/S (Pilot) - possibly killed whilst flying in Baltimore V, FW307 of No 2 ADU, which exploded after bouncing and tipping up on landing at Castel Benito.

    JONES, Leonard - Sgt (Pilot) - killed whilst flying in Hurricane I, Z7083 of No 59 OTU, which spun into the ground out of formation at Milfield.

    ALGERIA
    WALKER, Jack - LAC - 1125258 - the Yorkshire Evening Post of December 11th 1943 reported the following:

    L.A.C. Jack Walker, whose parents live in Cragside Walk, Leeds, has been killed in an accident in North Africa. He was previously employed by Shell Mex, Goodman Street.

    EDIT: found my answer - they were POWS on the "Suez Maru" that was sunk in java by the US Submarine Bonefish off the north coast of Bali. Part of the 219 other casualties commemorated on the Singapore memorial on that day
