The place/date of death on the death registers for Fallowes and Reid is Stracathro 23/12/43. This indicates that Oxford HN513 was the a/c involved.

    Default Bradley, Brailsford and Holland

    Further to Malcolm's post.

Confirm Bradley, Brailsford and Holland were killed at Upavon. LX595 struck a flagstaff whilst attempting a night landing in bad visibility, crashed into a small 'C' type maintenance hanger on the north airfield (north of the A342 and just east of the current camp complex) and burst into flame. Bradley is buried at Upavon. (Rod Priddle's Wings over Wiltshire)

Neither of the two WAAF appeared in Flight casualty lists
Billenness and Chance both appear in DOAS lists, I don't see Bilbow listed however in Flight.

Coble is listed as Killed on Active Service.

    Hello

    BANGLADESH
JOHNSON, Frank - F/S (Nav/WoP) -1513452 - Alexander Gray Orr's R.C.A.F. records confirm that they were killed in Mosquito HJ760. It had taken off from Comilla at 10.15 hours, crashing into a water tank at 22 47 N, 91 33 E.

    UK
BILLENNESS, Albert Frederick - LAC - 1662256 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Pitcombe Railway Station. The Western Gazette of Decembeb 31st 1943 reported that he alighted from a train onto the parapet of a bridge, having mistaken it for the station platform. The train had overshot the platform, and he fell onto the road below, sustaining multiple injuries from which he died.

COBLE, Percy Sidney - P/O (Pilot) - 52756 - the Portsmouth Evening News of December 29th carries several announcements of his death, one of which includes 'killed in flying accident.' The Graves Registration Report Form gives his unit a 3 (P) A.F.U.

    Simon
