Hi Bill,
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry I am a bit new to the terminology. Is Cornell 15025 the number assigned to this crash, the one with
Jansen and Lord?
Thanks, John

The Lancaster Guardian of December 31st 1943 reported the following:
AIRMAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT
Notification has been received by Mrs. J. Fox, of 9 Mill Street, Lancaster, that her husband, Flt-Sgt. James Fox, has been killed ina flying accident. he was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fox, of 10, Richmond Avenue, Lancaster. Flt-Sgt. Fox had finished one tour of operational flights with Bomber Command and was on a conversion course for Fighter Command when he met with the tragic accident.
Amongst the service records of J J Marcus J/9287 RCAF, the Court of Inquiry into Mosquito HX861 lists the crew as Capt. M. E. ROGERS and F/O J. J. MARCUS. It also includes a statement from Sqn. Leader Antony George Fisher of 60 O.T.U., which includes the statement "another of our aircraft had crashed during the afternoon and I went to the scene of the crash." So, were SCHOLES and FOX aboard HJ826 - both are registered at Cirencester?

Simon
