    GRIFFITHS, Evan Thomas - LAC - killed whilst flying in Tiger Moth II, 1268 of No 26 EFTS, which was lost in a flying accident.
    HAIR, David Martin - LAC - killed whilst flying in Tiger Moth II, 1268 of No 26 EFTS, which was lost in a flying accident.

    BEAL, Robert charles Henry - Sgt(WoP/A/G) - probably killed whilst flying in Anson I, N9751 of No 1 (O) AFU, which ditched in the Irish Sea off the Isle of Man.
    DAWSON, Roy - Sgt (WoP/A/G) - killed whilst flying in Wellington III, BK333 of No 17 OTU, which crashed on the approach to Turweston following an engine failure.
    DRAYCOTT, Sydney - F/S (Pilot) - probably killed whilst flying in Anson I, N9751 of No 1 (O) AFU, which ditched in the Irish Sea off the Isle of Man.

    Concerning Griffiths and Hair: Tiger Moth 1268 was lost in a mid-air collision with 3856 of the same school. Both aircraft were RCAF Category A (not repairable). Are we sure both of these LACs were in 1268?

    The following were all listed as Died on active service per Flight Casualty lists

    JEREMIAH, BANNISTER, COURT, DEVEREESE, LISHMAN, STRUBELL


    EGYPT
    BORLASE Killed on active service, I'd expect an aircraft crash
    RNZAF F/Lt G S Harcourt NZ412684 was killed on this date, his Grave Reg Form also lists 135 MU. He is associated with Wellington MP649
    Both are buried in Heliopolis, Graves 4.A.2 and 4.B.2


    BEAL, DRAYCOTT, PORTER, STOKES, TOOMER, all Killed on active service and all on same casualty list
