    From the 105 OTU ORB:

"19th of January - No. 1307460 L.A.C. F. W. Cole, who died on the 12th inst., was buried at MORDEN cemetery, Surrey. The unit was represented by Flight Lieutenant S. L. West. Mrs Cole wrote appreciatively of the help given by the unit."

There is no trace in the ORB of the cause of death.
In fond memory of Corporal James Oakland AGC (RMP), killed in action in Afghanistan on 22 October 2009. Exemplo Ducemus.

McCANN, James - LAC - 1374350 - the Scotland's People website Statutory Deaths register states that he died as the result of a fractured spine at Erskine Hospital at 10.28 a.m. It also states that he died whilst engaged in war service.

The following were all listed as Died on active service per Flight Casualty lists
    http://ww2irishaviation.com/DOASandWAAF1944.htm

    COLE, KELLY, WAITE, COOPER,

I'm not finding LAC J McCann in Flight magazine lists,

A J MABEY is listed as Killed on active service; his Grave Reg Form states 9 (C) OTU.
    and confirmed here: http://www.rafcommands.com/archive/11657.php
