    Default Bristol Blenheim Help Needed

    Gents,

I have most of the excellent Air Britain RAF aircraft serial soft backs apart from the one that covers the T series, specifically for the Blenheim IV.

I am hoping some kind soul could check for any Blenheim Mark IV in this T range which served with No.218 Squadron.

    From the ORB I have found the following;

    T1863
    T1864
    T1888
    T1965
    T1987
    T1988
    T1990
    T1196

I would like to establish who the manufacturer was, contract, numbers built, squadron from - to.

A bit of work I know, but any help or pointers welcome.

    Regards

    Steve

    Hello Steve

Part of a batch of 400 Blenheim IV delivered between June and October 1940 by Rootes to contract No. 1485/39.

You can add T1865 (unless T1965 is a typo, there were no Blenheim T1965, the number went from T1960 to T1985 directly), T1888, T1929, T1996 (typo for T1196 ?).

    Hi Joss,

Thank you for your prompt reply and the corrections, all taken via the ORB so I will have to re-check.
