    Default Anson K8746 217 Sqn February 6, 1940

This is listed in Ross's Coastal Command Losses. It was coded MW-O and was with 217 Squadron at RAF St Eval, it was on a convoy patrol when control was lost and it dived into the sea off Bishop’s Rock on this date

3 of the 4 crew were killed

F/O John Arthur Charles White (39406) from Canada,
P/O Arthur Hugh Moncrieff Wright (41643) from New Zealand
LAC Herbert James Noel Marsden 528828

The fourth name is NOT listed and was rescued by HMS Vimy can anyone Id him? thanks Paul

Thanks to Martin Gleeson, the 217 Sqn ORB lists the 4th man as "LAC Wilson" and notes his rescue by HMS Vimy. Can anyone ID LAC Wilson further ?

    Thanks Paul
