    Anyone know where this 149 Sqn machine was built and what its eventual fate was?

    This Mk 1 Lancaster was built at Whitley, Coventry as part of Contract No. 239/SAS/C4(C) due for delivery Nov 43 - March 46. (Source: The Lancaster Story by Peter Jacobs)
    NG299 was delivered between July 44 and February 45 and served with 622, 149, 207 and 90 squadrons. It was SOC 16.10.47 (Source: The Lancaster Register).
