    Please I would like informations (unit) concerning these 2 RAF airmen :

    Sergt. Ronald Sooley

    Sergt. Desmond Ball

    both in a Lancaster Squadron (April 1943).

    Ronald Sooley born in Romford, Essex Q3 1920 and married in Q1 1944 Fulham London

    Both he and Desmond Ball were serving with 207 Squadron, 17/18 Aug 1943 RAF Langar, op Peenemunde.

    As you can see it shows Ball as being killed later in the war. CWGC commission shows he was then serving with 83 Squadron. He gained his DFM with 207 squadron.
